I am so proud of those curtains. I made them one night before school started. They have stars on them if you look real close. There are also stars hanging from the ceiling. We are the 2nd grade Stars and let our lights shine for Jesus! Posted by Picasa

My readin corner and Tree. This was the first idea God gave me when I prayed for an idea. It has the fruits of the spirit in the tree, and on the trunk it says, We are learning to produce Good Fruit. Posted by Picasa

From Red light to Green light

I cannot believe it has been a month since I posted! Oh my goodness sakes! I can't remember a time in my motherhood when I was ever this busy! We went from being home, and all together, to only being here to sleep. It's Crazy! I started working, and in the same week we were offered a basically free horse! If any of you know me, you know I would never turn this opportunity down. So, we got the horse, and in exchange for board, our family is working out at the barn a couple of nights a week, and on Saturday's too. We live a good 30 mins. from town, so by the time we get up at 5am and home from school, and playing with the horse it is usually around 8-8:30pm and then there is still dinner, bath, story and bedtime. Bailey and I get her homework done at the stable usually. It has been a whirlwind this month!

If any of you have tried to call, and gotten a busy signal, it's because since I am never here, and I pay all of our bills online except the phone, then you would notice something very important that I have forgotten to do.... OOps! I just can't believe how much our lives have changed... We are having a lot of fun as a family though....

Teaching is great. I love it! I have a small class and they are all very wonderful, and keep me laughing all day! I just started a budddy program with them on Friday where they "adopt" a kindergartener and they read a book they practice with me, to their buddy. It is very neat, as they sit all scattered around our courtyard reading to these cute little people.
Bailey is loving school, she has a fantatastic teacher! She took them to the Library in town on Tuesday, and then took 15 kids to the grocery store to get ice-cream afterwards, she is amazing! Very bubbly, and smiles all of the time.
Ryan and Grace are loving pre-school too. They love their teacher, and their little friends, and they enjoy having mommy at the school too. Ryan hangs out with me on MWF at the end of the day in my classroom and helps me in there, and Grace comes with me on T TH mornings. My class takes a field trip every T TH to walk Grace to her classroom, and Gracie smiles so big when the whole 2nd Grade takes her to her class.... so cute!!! The other day I peeked out my door to see Gracie walking down the hall with her "buddy" Lauren. They were holding hands in line, and looking so lady like walking down the hall. They are both absolutely in bliss with their babysitter, Ms. Kim, who takes such great care of them. I am so thankful, but at times I struggle with being sad that they are getting a lot of hugs and kisses frome someone other than me.
Bailey is loving her horse! She does so amazingly well with her! She is so happy to go out there and visit every day. The stable is on the top of a big hill over-looking a valley, and it is so peaceful and restoring to be there. It is our therapy. I love working with the horses with her like my dad did with me. I would never have believed we would have one! And one so beautiful too! She is a 17 year old saddlebred, named Sierra. One of the other things that Bailey loves so much is her stable-friend Feona, who is 8 and has a pony named Bravo. They scream when they see each other! Even Grace screams when Feona drives up! They walk around the barn together holding hands. It is absolutely the sweetest thing. I am so blessed.
Scott and I have been able to ride in the valley twice together, and we have had so much fun! We are free like the wind when we canter across the fields together and that is so much fun!!! Our horse, Sierra is the smoothest ride, and she can go english or Western, and yesterday I rode her western, and what a blast that was! Wow! I praise God for allowing us to have so much of a blessing as a family.
We are leaving for Boston on Wednesday and I can't wait to see everyone, and have a little rest from this hectic schedule. My dad's Birthday is the 30th, and we are having a huge family reuninon. We will be gone from Wednesday to Tuesday. We are really looking forward to it.
