Family Updates...

So much happens in between posting. I could never catch it all up! We are in our new house. We have been here for 1 month. I love it! It's beautiful, and very comfortable. The kids are doing well. Ryan was sick with Strep throat this past weekend, but he is on the road to recovery now. Grace and Bailey are well, and we are all in the throws of summer! And all that it entails. We have been BBQing, and playing in the pool, and visiting with friends. It's been so nice to be home. I love being able to wake up and spend all day with the kids, and take care of all the daily details of running our home and lives. It's so much easier when you're not working full time! Wow!
Scott is very busy but loving it! I enjoy the moments when he is home and I can actually see his cute face! He is working a lot, and being on call means sometimes even days off are interrupted by work. We are all getting accustomed to it. Some of the things we enjoy as a couple are putting the kids to bed and sitting down together on the couch to share an ice-cream float and a movie. Last night we started watching "The Ten Commandments." It was so good. Long... We will hopefully finish it tonight.
I was able to go visit my sister and my twin nieces who are 8 weeks old! I went by myself, and for the first time in 10 years, I left my family, and flew alone across the country to be with Dawn. It was such a blessing. I enjoyed it so much! Nothing beats having a sister. We talked and did babies together, and shopped, and ate out. There is no other time like 4:00am to have a good conversation over sleepy babies and formula. It was hard to leave at the end of my stay, but it was wonderful to come home to my family. I missed them so much while I was away, but they were kept plenty busy by Grandma and Papa while I was gone! Thank you grandma and Papa!
I feel so blessed to have such wonderful family! They are such treasures to me! Speaking of...Congratulations to Katie and Shaun on the arrival of their newest addition....baby Jack! We are so excited for you guys! Your baby has no idea the blessing he will receive from having you for parents!
